Tapas, the "little dishes of Spain" are small portions of

afternoon and evening hours. The original tapa was a
piece of bread with a thin slice of serrano ham
served atop a glass of wine. This tidbit was the beginning of a Mediterranean
culinary tradition. Tapas offer the option of
creating a meal tailored to your desires, no matter how simple or grand. Two or
three tapas will make a satisfying meal for one, but
the real joy comes from sharing with a group; the more people that share, the
wider the diversity of flavors.
